PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Sting’s Pre-Academy Program is the perfect bridge between the Little Stingers program and Academy program. Alternatively, for recreational players aged U7-U8 who are motivated to increase their commitment level to soccer and accelerate skill development guided by professional coaches.
Pre-Academy is both fun and challenging with a curriculum built around mastering the ball and mastering the opponent. We want players to develop confidence on the ball individually and express this ability through direct, individual expression vs. an opponent. Emphasis tactically on decision making 1v1, with a teammate 2v1 and when matched up 2v2.
Guiding players to better understand attacking principles under such conditions. Physically players will be challenged with Speed, Agility and Quickness in soccer-specific scenarios. Notes: 2x training sessions per week (Tues/Thurs) + League Play (CAYSA) – Tournament Play Possible
